In order to become a world-class university specializing in art and design, Kaywon University of Art & Design declared ‘CREATOR 2030: Creative Player Kaywon, Only One Kaywon’ as its vision. In addition, we are actively providing education that promotes creative activities to foster 3H Creators equipped with emotion (Heart), intelligence (Head), and practical ability (Hands). To this end, we are continuously striving to improve the excellence of education by implementing studio-centered education, cultivating practical capabilities through industry-academia cooperation, and actively operating the PDCA-based CQI system. From its inception to the present, Kaywon University of Art and Design has been a ‘specialized university in art and design education’ and has systematically established and implemented specialization and development plans through various environments such as government higher education policies and industrial trends, collection of opinions from members, and university self-evaluation. Kaywon University of the Art & Design continues to pursue its vision of ‘CREATOR 2030’ to advance from being Korea’s leading “place for creators, the world of creators” to becoming a global creative leader in the cultural industry.
